Heather Buck is a powerhouse of a singer. For well over an hour she sustained a delicate but forceful vocal gymnastics routine that had the preview audience riveted. This one minute clip can’t do justice to the range and resonance of her performance.

It’s a challenging and intense opera with an austere and monochrome stage set. It’s about as high brow as it gets with bizarre but classical themes, sung in German. Proserpina sings throughout most of the entire show, with a little help from a small choir at the end.
