If so, you might want to wear it tonight to the Halsey’s free opening reception for Call & Response. They’re encouraging guests to “respond” to the exhibit by wearing their most festive attire. Art Mag is hosting a costume contest with prizes (and we’ve been assured they’re worth the effort). Social will have wine, and the Djole African Drum & Dance Company will provide entertainment. Stop by the Halsey (161 Calhoun St.) tonight (May 27) between 5-7 p.m.
And don’t forget the free exhibition walk-through and lectures with the artists, Nick Cave and Phyllis Galembo on Sat. May 29 at 2 and 3 p.m.
