The makeover isn’t done at the City Market. Crews recently unveiled the bulk of the rehab work on three of the four market sheds downtown, a more than $5 million project that will be paid for through future booth rentals.

But there’s more sprucing to be done. The city’s Board of Architectural Review recently approved two murals above the entrances at each end of Shed B. One mural is of a woman in front of sweetgrass baskets and the other is a man in front of various sea-faring symbols.
