Enjoy an evening of food, cocktails, and festivities and help save the lives of countless animals. The annual Furry Affair, held by the Charleston Animal Society at the Holliday Alumni Center, raises money to protect the creatures we love. The event takes place Sat. June 19 from 6-10 p.m.

The Charleston Animal Society is a non-profit organization serving as an open-admission animal shelter that relies on gifts and donations from individuals in the Charleston area. Their mission is to find responsible guardianship for animals along with educating and providing people with the proper means to raise their adopted pet.

The Furry Affair auction will include items of all interest: works donated by local artists, a vacation getaway, sports memorabilia, cooking lessons, spa packages, and much more. The $75 ticket includes beer, wine, and food from Tristan Restaurant. Guests can enjoy live and silent auctions, music, and cocktails, all while ensuring Fido, Spot, and Tabby find good homes.
