Cync Entertainment, a local transmedia company, has cast judges for its new web-based show, Audition America. The program — a casting competition and reality show — invites actors from around the country to upload their audition videos. Twenty contestants will vie for the chance at a supporting role in the feature film Hidden, a $25,000 scholarship to the New York Film Academy’s Acting for Film School One-Year Conservatory Program, and $100,000 in cash and other prizes. Judges include Roger Del Pozo (of the New York Film Academy), Richard Futch (of Futch-Mullins Casting), Tammy Green (of The Green Agency, Inc.), Ellen Jacoby (of Ellen Jacoby Casting International), and Gregory James (of Sound Tree Entertainment). A sixth judge will eventually be named as well. For more information, visit the show’s website.
