Local songwriter Ryan Bailey and his Americana/rock band Cumberland Belle — guitarist Carl Wine, bassist Shawn Leiberknight, and drummer Parker Smith — are set to release a self-titled EP in a few weeks.

Bailey’s melodic pop-rock stylings hit the machines at Charleston Sound over the winter and spring. “It has sort of a Whiskeytown/Tom Petty vibe, if Tom Petty were just slightly more country,” Bailey says.

He and the band celebrate the disc’s release at the Tin Roof on Fri. July 9 with support from local singer/guitarist Harrison Ray and his latest troupe.
