Pet Helpers is running a special this summer: Adopt one kitten and get a companion kitten for 50 percent off. That means twice the adorableness at a lowered price. Start oooing and awwing now. Each kitten comes with Pet Helpers’ usual guarantee of the kittens being spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. You’ll also get a voucher for a free vet visit and one month of free pet health insurance.
Pet Helpers, a nonprofit adoption center and low cost spay/neuter clinic, is dedicated to helping animals throughout the community. They take animals in, tend to their immediate needs, and then find a good home for the little critters. “We keep all animals until they are adopted, and if one doesn’t get adopted, it lives here with us forever,” says Katie Mehle, director of public relations and outreach at Pet Helpers.
Mehle says it’s "kitten season" and currently all shelters in the area are swamped with the cuties. The shelter’s main concern is to get them adopted quickly so they can make room for other animals from the streets. “Our goal is to get them into homes,” says Mehle.
At Pet Helpers, you can adopt two lovable kittens for $187.50.
