Stacey Bendet, founder and designer of alice + olivia, is touring the East Coast this summer on a makeover mission. Bendet, along with a team of stylists, will cruise into Charleston in their 1970s Airstream motor home on Sat. June 26 to bring her famous contemporary clothing line to the Holy City.

Bendet began designing clothes when she was on a mission to find the perfect pants. After searching without luck, Bendet decided to make her own pair, earning her the nickname “Staceypants.” Over the past eight years, Bendet has gone from being homeless to being a popular fashion designer passionate about spreading joy.

Alice + olivia is teaming up with Caviar & Bananas to host the cocktail party and trunk show on Saturday, with clothing priced from $250 to $400. Stylists from Stella Nova are donating their time to do guests’ hair and make-up. The party is from 5-9 p.m. and while you’re there, check out the vintage motor home parked out front to see how the girls are living.A percentage of the proceeds from the trunk show will be donated to Feed the Need.
