The 3 Dudes, one of the scene’s youngest rock groups, is comprised of three talented brothers — singer/guitarist Jack Ploch (11), singer/drummer Roger Ploch (11), and bassist/pianist Sam Ploch (9). The trio already has a four-song EP of originals, a handful of local gigs, and a growing teenage fanbase under its belt.

The young dudes are currently working on their follow-up album with local musicians Sadler Vaden (of Leslie) and Eddie Bush. Their live set includes a mix of classic rock (anything from Kiss to Van Halen to The Who) and some guitar-driven modern alt-rock as well.

This evening (Sat. July 10) at 8 p.m., they’ll played a Teen Night set at the tiki house at Blackbeard’s Cove in Mt. Pleasant (3255 Hwy. 17 N.). They’re on for an early-evening gig at the Windjammer on the IOP at 9 p.m. on Tues. July 13 as well.

They head out to the Bohicket Marina (on Johns Island, between Kiawah and Seabrook) for a show at the new Red’s Ice House on Fri. July 16 at 7 p.m.
