Tex!, the electro-dance project of Charleston musician and so-called "Iowa farmer" Paolo Licciardi, recently released a peppy new single titled "Heart Over Mind" — a techno/dance rendition of the 1961 Ray Price hit (originally penned by Mel Tillis).
Licciardi also posted an amusing video clip for a more romantic cover of The Beatles’ "Till There Was You," featuring footage of a grinning Tex! and a rotation of low-budget props. "I liked this one in particular, as it’s simple, goofy, and I get to show off my totally insane Casio VL-1 skills," says Licciardi. "It’s also my favorite song from the album One After 808."
