Presented by the Charleston County Parks and Recreation Commission, the Reggae Nights series continues this Saturday, Aug. 7 at the Wannamaker County Park with sets from Mystic Vibrations, a busy local reggae band led by singer/guitarist Ric Williams. "The music speaks of love, unity, peace amongst all mankind and the trials and tribulations of oppressed people," states the band in a press release.

The music will begin at 8:30 p.m. Admission is $8. Children 12 and under and park Gold Pass holders get free admission. Local cuisine, artwork, and crafts will be on hand.

Additional concerts in the series are scheduled at James Island as well, including Jah Works at James Island County Park on Sat. Aug. 21 and The Resolvers at Wannamaker County Park on Sat. Sept. 18. Visit and for more.
