As part of their Shark Week programming, the S.C. Aquarium will have a free viewing of the penultimate shark flick, Jaws.
Bring your blanket or chairs to the Movie on the Lawn, which opens at 7 p.m. on Thurs. Aug. 5; the movie starts at dark. The Aquarium will also screen a self-produced short film about shark myths before the feature, and experts will be on hand with information about the frightening fishes. Donations will be accepted, and food and drinks (including alcoholic beverages) will be available for purchase.
If the City Paper can make a suggestion: How about showing Jaws 3-D on your 4-D screen?
