Simple, modern, and unexpected are the words being used to describe the newest incarnation of Tristan, which is getting relaunched this Friday. To generate some buzz, Chef Nate Whiting is hitting the streets today, handing out some of his signature amuse-bouches. He’s well known for pairing unusual flavors and ingredients like peach custard and Italian olives, or strawberries and mascarpone with fizzy champagne powder. Weird but amazingly delicious. He’ll also be handing out tickets for free champagne at the restaurant.

The cart should be trolling the streets from noon until 6 p.m.
