S.O.B. and the Legend of Alan Schafer, a documentary by locals Jesse Berger and Nate Mallard, will premiere on the Documentary Channel at 8 p.m. on Aug. 16 (and again at 11 p.m.). The film details the life of Schafer, the man behind the South of the Border roadside attraction in Dillon, S.C. It debuted in April 2009 at the Charleston International Film Festival.
