Cynthia Rowley’s boutique welcomed some unfamiliar visitors Thursday night: Men. Preppy New York-based menswear company Bonobos hosted a lively launch party at the King Street spot, attracting some of the city’s most stylish dudes. CEO Andy Dunn worked the room, looking dapper, while local prepsters like K. Cooper Ray and Jeffery Rhodes chatted among the racks of clothes. Guests checked out the bright polos, embroidered belts, and signature pants while helping themselves to the Firefly bourbon drinks being passed around by two friendly waiters. The Bluestone Ramblers crammed into the store window, and their down-home tunes roped in curious passers-by. While Cynthia Rowley is normally just for ladies, we’ll accept the intrusion of men — provided they always throw parties as fun as the Bonobos crew.
