Unfortunately, there isn’t too much going on this week, which is why you’re getting Freeloaders a day late. But remember, you can always stop by art galleries for a free activity, or hear live music at many bars.

TUESDAY. Christina Cone and The Best Intentions play a free show at the Windjammer. Cone is a singer-songwriter in New York City returning home to perform with her band who has recently recorded a seven song EP.

WEDNESDAY. Chris Barron from the Spin Doctors, best known for “Two Princes,” will perform at the Wild Wing in Mt. Pleasant with an opening act by local musicians JamiSun beginning at 9 p.m. Local indie-rock duo Sleepy Eye Giant play their stuff at The Mill for a free “hump day” show. Neighbor Day is held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at SC Legal Services with a purpose to inform and educate the community on local services, businesses, agencies, and organizations. This friendly day will include refreshments, giveaways, games, entertainment, and other family activities. Horton Hears a Who! will continue the summer Starlight Cinema movies this week. The movie is shown at Freshfields Village beginning at 9 p.m. and don’t forget your donations for Sea Island Habitat for Humanity.

THURSDAY. Acoustic country/rock duo James & Jimmy play at Guy Harvey’s Island Grill beginning at 8 p.m.

SATURDAY. Local author Nadine Vazquez signs copies of her new book, Single and Living It, at Waldenbooks from 2 to 4 p.m.
