Pet Helpers will be serving up some goodies for a good cause with Mt. Pleasant’s Great Harvest Bread Company. The event, which will take place at the bakery, is in memorium of Liza Hollingsworth, who sadly contracted bacterial meningitis earlier this year.
Bring your kids to the fundraiser; they’ll help roll and knead the dough for the sale, which will be baked into a variety of breads, scones, muffins, Savannah Bars, and cookies.
The event will go from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Pet Helpers visiting the bakery from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Some of Pet Helper’s adoptive pets will even make an appearance. All proceeds from the sale will go to Pet Helpers, Liza’s charity of choice.
