On Fri. Dec. 10, acclaimed songwriter Ben Bridwell of S.C.-based indie band Band of Horses will present the Benefit for the Andy Kotowicz Family Foundation at the Pour House with musical project Birdsmell and Friends and special guest Holopaw.

A longtime member of the Sub Pop Records family in Seattle, Kotowicz was killed in a car accident in October. His daughter Anna was seriously injured as well (she is recovering nicely). Friends of the Sub Pop and Seattle music community have pitched in to help the family in different ways.
