Far-right conservative Rick Santorum, a former U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania and likely presidential candidate, will be visiting Charleston for two events Sunday and Monday.
According to a release from Santorum’s political action committee, he’ll be speaking Sunday at the Citadel Republican Society Patriot Dinner honoring Congressmen Gresham Barrett, Henry Brown, and Steve Buyer. On Monday, he’ll be the featured guest at a Charleston County GOP fundraiser.
Santorum is touring early primary states, including a recent trip to New Hampshire and a planned visit this month to Iowa.
