The College of Charleston recently released their spring calendar. While it’s jam-packed with events, we’re especially excited about the Leslie Wayne exhibition opening at the Halsey on Jan. 21.
“Leslie Wayne is a New York-based abstract painter whose layered, carved and stacked use of mostly tropical colored paint evokes awe and wonder,” CofC’s Nandini McCauley says. “Wayne states that her work is derived from thoughts of landscape and geological cross sections.”
