Local singer/songwriter Jefferson Coker is ready to release his first solo full-length album this month. With the 12-song, acoustic guitar-driven Freedom, he’s aiming for internet and college radio airplay and sales at locally owned shops.
Coker has been playing both as a solo act and with the backing of a full band in local venues since 2007. His CD release party is scheduled for Fri. Jan. 28 at the Village Tavern. See jeffersoncoker.com for more.
