Righchus

Local hip-hop artist Righchus (a.k.a. Matt Bostick) plans to release a new studio collection this month.

As with his acclaimed 2009 debut Chaos Theory (B Squared Music), Sweetgrass & Supras is a collaborative production between the rapper and studio bud Max “Benjamin” Berry and DJ Ill Will.

“I think this album is really going to change the current look for Charleston hip hop. I want to show that through my music,” says Righchus. “Anyone who listens to the album can expect high energy and good music from start to finish.”

The track “Carolina Born” is already a fan fave from recent performances. The official release date is Tues. Jan. 18. Righchus will host a CD release party at NV Dance Lounge in the Market on Fri. Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. He’ll also conduct an album signing at Monster Music & Movies from 2-3:30 p.m. on Sat. Jan. 22.

The new album will be available as a free download at datpiff.com, livemixtapes.com, hotnewhiphop.com, and mixtapetorrents.com. Visit righchus.wordpress.com for more.
