If you’re a lady looking to lessen the clutter in your closet, then visit the first public Re-Trend Clothing Swap at Tin Roof.

Re-Trend, a guerilla women’s clothing swap run by local fashionistas, is accepting clothing of all shapes, colors, and sizes. They are also welcoming accessories such as purses, belts, and scarves. Re-Trend does ask that the clothing be clean and free of any rips or stains.

At arrival, you will receive a voucher for the number of items you brought. You will be able to swap for exactly the number of items on the voucher. If you want more clothing than you are allotted, extra items cost $3 a piece. As you leave, Re-Trend will count the number of items and check off your voucher.

We all know that clothes swapping can become an intense experience, so drink specials and snacks will be available. All leftover clothing will be donated to Sea Island Habitat for Humanity to help raise money for their annual Women’s Build.

Get there and get swapping. You’ll feel better afterwards.
