Apparently it’s West Ashley’s turn to bask in the spotlight. First Mellow Mushroom makes a big splash, and now Jack Hurley is planning to bring a new Jack’s Cosmic Dogs to the area.
The third location for the local chain will be on the other side of Avondale, taking over the old Busy B’s floral shop on Hwy. 61 at the corner of St. Andrews Blvd. and Avondale Road. Expect the same great dogs (the ones that Food Network’s Alton Brown calls the best he’s ever had) and the same ’50s retro vibe.
Hurley says they’re shooting for a mid-June open. Here’s to blasting off.
