The North Charleston Performing Arts Center welcomes roots/country band Alison Krauss & Union Station (featuring Jerry Douglas) to the stage in August.

The ensemble’s summer tour will stop at the venue on Sun. Aug. 14. Their latest album, an 11-song collection titled Paper Airplane (Rounder), debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and Bluegrass Albums Chart and at No.3 on the Top 200 Album Chart. The disc follows 2004’s triple Grammy Award-winning Lonely Runs Both Ways (Rounder). Paper Airplane is Krauss’ first release since her Grammy-winning Robert Plant collaboration Raising Sand.

Tickets are on sale through the Performing Arts Center Box Office, Ticketmaster outlets (including select Publix grocery stores), by phone (800) 745-3000, and online at ticketmaster.com.
