The Lowcountry gets to see two big-name artists from national hip-hop scene on Sun. July 17, when rappers Busta Rhymes and Big Boi co-headline Charleston Get Hype at the Gaillard Municipal Auditorium.

Rapping with mind-numbing speed, Busta Rhymes has earned eight Grammy nominations and landed several Billboard hits, including Chris Brownโ€™s current Top10 hit โ€œLook at Me Now.โ€

Joining him will be half of arguably the greatest hip-hop duo ever, Big Boi of Outkast, Big Boi has proven himself as a solo talent with personal success from hits โ€œThe Way You Moveโ€ and โ€œShutterbugg.โ€ Big Boi is currently working on his new album Daddy Fat Sax: Soul Funk Crusader, set for release later this year.
