Charleston Cycle Chic seeking strutters

Are you a chic cyclist? Do you want to show off your stylin’ ride at a fun event? Charleston Cycle Chic is hosting a bike-centric bash on Sept. 8 called the Bike Brew Haha (not to be confused with the Brew Ha Ha on Aug. 28). Held at the Maritime Center, the event will include music, bike polo, food trucks, beer, and a bicycle fashion show. It’s all intended to celebrate the city’s progress toward becoming more bike-friendly.

Organizers are currently accepting applicants for chic stylists to participate in the fashion show. To apply, take a picture of yourself with your bike (preferably one from a local shop) and send it to chscyclechic@gmail.com. Lovely ladies and dapper men will be considered, and the 20 participants will be selected by Aug. 29. For more info, see charlestoncyclechic.com.
