Charleston designers have a solid showing in the December issue of Print magazine, the publication’s 31st Regional Design Annual. A panel of high-profile judges sorted through 2,536 submissions from across the country, settling on the 421 best pieces. Together, the winning designs are intended to offer a portrait of American design today.
Design firm Hook was recognized for their ad campaign for Mississippi-based Cathead Vodka, which included a typeface inspired by a hand-painted sign. Gil Shuler Graphic Design won for his Battery 2 Beach bicycle trail logo, and Fuzzco won for a Nick Jenkins poster. Stitch Design Co. was highlighted for FIG’s wine labels, and J Fletcher Design’s Peace One Day Festival poster was recognized as well.
