There’s a certain type of person who hangs nudie calendars on their wall, and they’re usually skeezeballs. But there is an exception: When it’s artistic. Joanna Jackson has gathered 13 local artists to pose for a 2012 calendar that will benefit the chART Outdoor Initiative and Gallery.

John Pundt, Shelley Smith, Kristy Bishop, Hirona Matsuda, Julio Cotto, and Jason Baxley are just a few of the artists baring it all, artfully, of course. Each month will also feature a haiku written by local poet Marcus Amaker.

The unveiling party will be at the Blind Tiger on Fri. Dec. 2 from 5-9 p.m. The calendars cost $15 each. See joannasstudio.com/censored.html for more details.
