The Carolina Film Commission is hosting their general membership meeting on Sun. Jan. 15, where they’ll hold elections for their board of directors.

In order to serve on the board, you must be a member of the organization in good standing, and you will be required to attend 12 board meetings per year as well as membership meetings and other events. Nominations can be sent to current CFA president Richard Futch at rfutch@comcast.net, and absentee voting will be available for whoever can’t attend the event.

The meeting will also include a legislative update on the South Carolina film industry and incentives. It takes place at PURE Theatre (447 King St.) at 3 p.m.

Visit the CFA’s website for more info on the organization.
