Organizers of the annual Lowcountry Oyster Festival — a massive gathering on the back lawn of the Boone Hall Plantation on Sun. Jan. 29 — announced that local country-rocker Eddie Bush and his band the Mayhem are solid as the event’s headlining musical act.

Bush is a veteran songwriter, lead guitarist, and educator. He recently recorded and toured with the Nashville-based alt-country trio One Flew South. His forthcoming album, Shared Time, is due for release this year.

Advance tickets for the Lowcountry Oyster Festival are available for $12. Visit charlestonrestaurantassociation.com and eddiebush.com for more.
