Dolly Dee, founder and owner of Bizarro Burlesque, is celebrating her birthday with one “disgustingly cute” burlesque party.

The local Charlestonian and pioneer of the city’s burlesque scene, Dee has been delivering classic and neo-burlesque performances with racy, innovative costumes and props since 2007. The Jan. 28 party will feature some of Dolly’s favorite burlesque performers, including South Carolina girls Skye Paige and Rachel Riot, giving the birthday girl the night off to enjoy live music by the Cogburns, garage rockers out of Atlanta.

Free and open to the public, the party also features a raffle and prizes. All Dolly Dee wants for her birthday this year is your non-perishable food donations, all benefiting local charity Star Gospel Mission.
