The last time Mike Daisey was in Charleston for the 2006 Spoleto Festival, he performed Monopoly, a tale that masterfully wove together Nikola Tesla, Edison, Bill Gates, Wal-Mart, and the board game. He returns in 2012 on the wave of a much bigger story. He will be performing The Agony and Ecstasy of Steve Jobs, a piece that he wrote after following the iPhone back to its origin in Shenzhen, China. His reasons for doing so came from his obsession and love of Apple products.
