Just in case you forgot, every February Poogan’s Porch rolls back their menu pricing to 1978, an anniversary year marked by one of Charleston’s most hauntingly delectable restaurants.
You can receive menu favorites, such as the buttermilk fried chicken with sage gravy, potatoes, and collards for only $7.75, or she crab soup for just $2.99. (Oh my, how times have changed.) The old Queen Street house is considered a must-go for new Charleston tourists, and a must-go-again for those Charlestonians who enjoy good food and atmosphere.
Open 365 days a year, Poogan’s Porch serves a Lowcountry lunch from 11:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m., dinner from 5-9:30 p.m. and weekend brunch from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Make sure to take advantage of these fabulous prices because for better or worse, February will very quickly come to an end.
