Megan Jean and the KFB

Two Charleston musical acts will go busking on downtown streets in the weeks leading up the Minus the Bear concert at the Music Farm on Thurs. Feb. 23. Presented Jack Daniel’s Studio No. 7, the concert and street shows are free. Members of City Paper‘s street team will be on hand with invitations to the Music Farm show at every busking stop. Road warriors Megan Jean and the KFB, comprised of singer/guitarist Megan Jean and bassist/banjo player Byrne Klay, will hit the Lower King Street scene (south of Calhoun Street, near George Street) on Sat. Feb. 18 from 4-6 p.m. Bluesy/twangy local band The Royal Tinfoil — led by singer/guitarists Mackie Bowles and Lily Slay — will perform on the Avondale business strip in West Ashley (off of Savannah Hwy.) on Mon. Feb. 20 between starting around 4 p.m. and running until past happy hour. Additional performances are in the works.
