There’s no doubt that Charleston is waking up from its brief winter hibernation, and the March Art Walk is a favorite way to celebrate the coming of spring. Here are a few highlights happening on Fri. March 2.

Rebekah Jacob Gallery hosts The Intuitive Eye, an exhibit highlighting five contemporary artists: Ben Hollingsworth, Kevin Taylor, Timothy Pakron, Cyle Suesz, and Ben Williams. It’s one of Jacob’s last exhibits before moving north up King Street, so stop by on Friday between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m.

Food Photographer Helene Dujardin will be at Heirloom Book Company from 5:30-8 p.m. Her food photography will no doubt get you in the mood for tasty Wine + Food events.

Robert Lange hosts KC Collins‘ first solo exhibition, a light-filled collection called Radiate.
There are a handful of other openings happening around the French Quarter, but be sure to head off the beaten path for two more promising shows: Concurrent at the Knights of Columbus building and Gris Galerie’s debut pop-up show featuring Cyle Suesz at the Old Gadsden Funeral Home.
