This winter, the festival was voted by City Paper reader as Charleston’s Best Music Concert of 2011.

This year’s full lineup will be announced soon. A ticket pre-sale is available fan club members this week, and tickets for the general public go on sale on Sat. Chef Rusty Hamlin, the executive chef for Zac Brown Band and a graduate of the Culinary Arts Institute of Louisiana, will be on hand during the festival. Hamlin and other will be preparing traditional and modern Southern-style dishes at “Cookie,” the Zac Brown Band’s tractor trailer-sized mobile kitchen.

Brown grew up in the northeast Georgia town of Dahlonega. He formed the Georgia-based country-rock group in the mid 2000s. The group’s big-selling 2009 album The Foundation featured the chart-topping single “Chicken Fried.” Their latest full-length, 2010’s You Get What You Give, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and eventually earned the 2010 Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Brown and his bandmates recently enlisted percussionist Daniel de los Reyes. The group’s forthcoming album, Uncaged, is set for release on July 10 on Atlantic Records/Southern Ground Artists.
