About two weeks ago, Cha’s Cha’s Tequila Bar opened on Folly Road in the former Buffalo South space. We spoke to owner Rick Agius a few months back as he was making preparations to open what he’s calling Charleston’s only Mexican sports bar.
The space has been outfitted with a serious set of pool tables, six in all, and a massive selection of tequila.
The menu has quesadillas ($6.99), tortas ($7.95), fajitas ($9.95-$13.95), tacos ($3.75), and mesquite grilled skewers ($7.99-$$9.99), and they also have a daily special that changes each day. Today is two yellowfin tuna tacos for $6.99.
I have yet to check it out and am waiting for them to iron out the kinks before I do. I’ve not heard very positive things so far. Have you been? What was your experience like? Give your review here.
