West Ashley’s store Monster Music & Movies (946 Orleans Road) will present the biannual Charleston Record Expo on Sat. Aug. 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will feature throngs of collectors and collections from all over the region.
“The Expo will offer thousands of LPs, 45s, and miscellaneous music collectables,” store manager Galen Hudson says. “There’ll be collectable, high-end stuff, but there will be lots of bargains, too. Vinyl has made a major comeback, and music lovers, young and old, are discovering or rediscovering what makes playing records so great.”
