At about 12:10 p.m., Charleston police issued a warning that motorists should avoid certain areas, which have been flooded. If you must drive, steer clear of the Market, Morrison and East Bay, Morrison and Meeting, Rutledge and the Crosstown, King and John and portions of Gadsden, Bennett, Wentworth, Beaufain, Pitt, Broad, and Ashley.
