Charleston jammers, Weigh Station, will play a free show tonight at the Pour House in order to get people amped for the holidays. But that doesn’t mean they’ll be singing “Jingle Bells.” Think more along the lines of the Band and the Allman Brothers. Guitarist Tom Leonczyk says, “We’ll play mostly our songs, but also some covers, and we’d love to throw in some originals of other Charleston musicians that will be sitting in with us.” He adds, “Obviously, we’re excited to play at the Pour House, and this will be kind of a special Thanksgiving thing.” Several musicians will be sitting in with Weigh Station, including their former sax player, Eric Gatsby. Also joining in on a few songs will be Rodrick Simmons on keys, and Charleston’s Ryan Bonner and Sarah Cole. The show begins at 10 p.m.
