Chanukah is in full swing, Christmas and New Year’s are right around the corner, and as we speak, Charleston’s dogs are enjoying their very own swimming pool. Yep, you read that right. Read on to find out more about that one.
Monday. He’s jolly, has a big white beard, dresses in red, and carries a sack of toys. Yep, you guessed it, Santa Claus is in town. Bring your kids to Citadel Mall or Northwoods Mall to sit and take pictures with Santa Claus through Christmas Eve.
Tuesday. This time of year is always stressful and busy. Reduce your stress at The Charleston County Public Library during an Introduction to Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation.
Wednesday. Kids can hang out in Mt. P for the Becky Becker’s Box of Puppets version of The Nutcracker. There’s also live team trivia at the Kickin’ Chicken or Sticky Fingers, for all you grown-ups.
Thursday. The Charleston Academy of Music is hosting an Honors showcase for students who’ve improved the most this semester.
Friday. In need of a good laugh or some quality family time? Grab a blanket or some law chairs and and enjoy the movie Elf on Cinebarre’s inflatable big screen, part of Mt. Pleasant’s Holiday Movie in the Park.
Saturday. Head to the Circular Congressional Church on Meeting Street to listen and sing along to classical Christmas tunes at An American Christmas Harp.
Sunday. Want to show off your pup’s new holiday sweater? Wag-n-Splash is hosting the Howliday Party and Open House, where there will be dog and people treats, holiday crafts, photos with your dog, raffle drawings, and much more at the indoor swimming pool for dogs.
