In just a few months, the small farming community of Lake City, S.C. is hoping to be a major arts hub when the inaugural ArtFields Southern Art Fest hits town. Scheduled for April 19-28, the event will feature a large collection of original artwork from artists all over the Southeast. he 10-day event will include live music, dancing, Southern food, and prizes.

If you think you’ve got what it takes to be part of the entertainment, they’re accepting applications from both emerging and established Southeastern artists until Feb. 7.

ArtFields attendees can participate in the action by voting for their favorite artist, and every vote cast could help an artist win a share of $100,000 in cash prizes — the largest cash prize of any art contest in the Southeast. Find out more by calling (843) 374-0180 or go to artfieldssc.org.
