Charleston freak-folkster Harrison Ray is looking to release his new album, For Good Luck and Bad Weather, this April. Ray says that the new disc is a “more evolved record” than his previous album, 2011’s El Paraguas. “It’s going to be an interesting monster with dull horns and a sweet, crooked smile,” Ray says. For Good Luck and Bad Weather will feature 10 relatively new songs, all of which are inspired by actual events, though Ray adds, “My friends say it goes through the Harrison filter, which I suppose means it turns out poetic and otherworldly.” For more information, check out Harrison Ray’s Facebook page.
