M. Dumas & Sons is making sure that our Southern boys stay colorful this spring. In preparation for the upcoming Carolina Cup, the menswear store is hosting a trunk show featuring apparel from the North Carolina-based brand Collared Greens.

“It’s going to be a good new twist,” says M. Dumas buyer Jordan Lash. “The vibrancy of [Collared Greens’] colors really matches up well with what we have here.”

Not only does Collared Greens offer elegant and exclusively American-made clothes, but they also seek to help the environment with their products. “They have a great go-green philosophy that we wanted to work with,” Lash says. Collared Greens is partnered with three conservation organizations to whom they give a percentage of their proceeds, as well as work to promote their cause. In addition, their clothes are made with all organic textiles, and they use all recycled or recyclable materials in their packaging.

The trunk show will be on March 15 and 16 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at M. Dumas & Sons on King Street. Representatives from Collared Greens will be there to help you put together outfits and discuss their mission. And according to Lash, there will be a special gift given with purchases.
