For the last 19 years, if you wanted a peek inside the oldest building in Charleston, all you had to do was go on an Art Walk. The Pink House (circa 1694), located at 17 Chalmers St., has served as an art gallery for years, but it will close its doors on April 15.

The owners have decided to put the historic house on the market, and it’s zoned for residential living. The realtor wants to stage the property, so the current tenants have been served an eviction notice.

This Fri. April 5 will be the Pink House’s final Art Walk, so stop by and pay your respects.
