The Recovery Room’s annual PBR Week is April 8-12, and it’ll be a week full of weird contests, prizes, and well, PBR. Maybe this week will put them over the edge to the No. 1 spot for selling the most PBR in the country.

Monday will feature the PBR Hump a Lime Race. Allow us to explain. It’s really quite simple — you just tie a PBR can to your belt and hump a lime across the floor. The fastest, most original will win. There are two chances to participate in this debauchery—one contest at 5:30 p.m. and another at 10:30 p.m.

Tuesday festivities will offer you the chance to toast to PBR. At 10:30 p.m., you can grab the mic and let the Recovery Room patrons know what PBR means to you. Tears are acceptable.

Wednesday will bring a PBR art contest. You’ll just paint, sculpt, and/or bend iron to mirror the inner beauty of PBR. Creativity at its finest, y’all. The judging will be at 11 p.m.

How much do you know about beer and drinking? Get a team together and test your knowledge on Thursday during PBR Trivia Night starting at 8:45 p.m. Prizes will be hats and t-shirts.

There’s a PBR raffle on Friday night, and we were told to keep it simple: Drink a PBR, get a raffle ticket, and you’ll probably “win some shit.”

Could you pick a PBR out in the crowd? Find out on Saturday night at the PBR taste testing. You’ll just sample four beers and pick out the PBR. Sounds easy enough. This is happening from 9-10:30 p.m.

And we’re sure you’ve always wanted a PBR doghouse. On Sunday, all your dreams can come true. Starting at 4 p.m., there will be a PBR dog parade, an egg toss, a half-court shot contest, and a potato sack race all in the name of winning the coveted PBR doghouse. They’ll also be giving out drinker of the year awards. We’re expecting big things.
