If you happened upon the Siematic showroom last night during the Design Walk, you may have enjoyed some Whisper Creek Tennessee Sipping Cream, a whiskey cream liqueur that comes from Nashville. Think Bailey’s Irish Cream, and you’re on the right track.

Whisper Creek says their all-American version is made using Tennessee whiskey mellowed with charcoal. The resulting 40-proof liqueur has layers of Southern flavors, including sorghum, fig, persimmon, and pecan.

Jenny and Jeff Pennington of SPEAKeasy Spirits worked with Nashville chef Deb Paquette to create their flavorful sipping cream.

If you want to get a taste for yourself, they’ll be pouring samples at the new Heirloom Book location at 54 1/2 Broad St. tonight from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Or you can pick up a bottle at your favorite package store. Whisper Creek recently launched in the South Carolina market.
