Start brushing up on your Vonlenska: Iceland post-rock band Sigur Rós is coming to the North Charleston Coliseumon Sept. 25. As you may or may not know, frontman Jónsi Birgisson’s invented his own language for the band, and while you may not understand a single word he’s singing, just know you’re in for a pretty epic show.
Tickets go on sale Fri. June 14 at 10 a.m. The Charleston date is one of the final stops on an international store that started last summer on the East Coast in support of Valtari, the band’s sixth album. Charleston fans will also get to hear tracks from Kveikur, which comes out on June 18. For more, visit northcharlestoncoliseumpac.com or sigur-ros.co.uk.
