The 2013 American Idol winner Candice Glover of St. Helena Island, S.C. will be performing live at the annual A Capitol Fourth concert in Washington, D.C. this year. The Beaufort High graduate turned national star dropped her album Music Speaks in May right after her American Idol win and is continuing her rise to fame. The Capitol Fourth concert airs on PBS at 8 p.m. on the Fourth of July and will feature a slew of musical talent, from the legendary Barry Manilow to Glee’s Darren Criss.
